Sarah started her professional career as a broadcast journalist covering local politics and indigenous issues, followed by a stint as an advertising executive managing national public health campaigns. For the past thirty years, as a consultant to more than a dozen federal departments and agencies, Sarah has dedicated herself to helping make government programs and services work better for Canadians. A passionate believer in the power of local action for lasting change, Sarah joined CNL after becoming a grandmother. As a volunteer, she transfers her skills in citizen engagement and results-based project delivery to helping her community reduce carbon emissions and better prepare for a changing climate, in the hopes that by working together we can give all our grandchildren a livable future.
